The Smith family along with the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Schoomaker, and the Sergeant Major of the Army, Preston, unveiled a new Memorial headstone in honor of SFC Paul R. Smith who was killed in Iraq and recently awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously by President Bush for his actions two years ago.
